I am an Ukrainian dancer inspired by Bollywood movies since 11. I traveled with the group "Lotus" around Soviet Union with my Indian dance show in 1988-1991, then graduated from Nizhyn College of Culture in choreography department - ballet, folkloric dance and composition 1991-1994. Then I moved to Moscow, Russia to learn Kathak and met my Kathak master Aswani Nigam. At the same time I was practicing belly dancing as well. My great teachers were Alla Kaplanovna Zhanataeva, Natalya Strelchenko (Fadda) and many videos... I became a Bellydance Champion of Russia in 2003 and prize winner in many other competions in Russia in 2002- 2004 before I left to the US. In June 2007 I competed in Belly Dancer USA and won Peoples Choice Award as well as placing 2nd in the Soloist category. Now I leave and teach Bellydance and Bollywood dance in Seattle, WA.
