I hope to expose Singaporean cuisine to the world and help people make our beloved authentic street and restaurant food in their homes. About me: I'm a fourth generation Singaporean of Chinese, or more specifically Cantonese descent (my maiden name is Chan). Although I've lived in Singapore most of my life, my twin sister and I were sent to boarding school in Australia when we were 16 years old. After 2 years in Melbourne's Presbyterian Ladies' College, we went on to university there and for the first time in our lives had to make our own meals.
