Ricardo Cavalcanti was born in Rio de Janeiro,Brazil. He has obtained his 6th degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under the world famous Carlson Gracie Sr , just 109 in the world have this honor . He won several championships, including the 1998 Pan Am IBJJF, the 2001World IBJJF , the 2002 California Games and the 2010 World No Gi IBJJF .He has instructed Jiu Jitsu at Carlson Gracie Academy BR, Rio Sports Center BR , Park Palace BR , Academia Da Praia BR , Gold Gym ,Anthem country club and Carlson Gracie Training Center .As well as his Jiu Jitsu instruction for the Henderson police depatment and S.W.A.T. Team. His current roles at RCA - Renzo Gracie Team Las Vegas and his Schools Affiliate to Ricardo Cavalcanti bjj Association .Members support the Instituto Ação e Reação- BR no-profit organization for help kids .
