Plein Air Painting is a fascinating journey! On my channel you get to see me Oil Paint outdoors in whatever mother nature gives me. Sometimes it's great and sometimes, it just doesn't work. Oil Painting En Plein Air is an important tradition that must be carried on and I'm so happy to be part of it. There are lots of terms you hear like Impressionism, and Ala Prima. It just means to paint in nature, outdoors and complete the painting all in one sitting. Oil Painting outdoors in all seasons is a challenge but one I accept fully and have embraced completely. The different seasons of painting outdoors give you lots of variety in palette choices and color mixing.
