♦ MYNGA ♦ [pronounced Minga = dialect and stands for Munich] was formed in April 2014 by Philipp and Simon, two music producers and DJs from Munich, Germany. Both started out producing music under different aliases (Philipp as one part of the duo “KlangTherapeuten” and Simon with his solo project. “Back Home" featuring Cosmo Klein on the vocals was their first single and was released in September 2014. The EP came along with remixes by Matoma, Bender and Kayliox and received huge international recognition aswell as got played and supported by guys like Oliver Heldens, Robin Schulz, Felix Jaehn, Bakermat, Thomas Jack, Klingande, Faul & Wad Ad, MÖWE and many more. Following this massive success their remixes in 2015 for Michael Calfan's summer hit "Treasured Soul" aswell as the remix for Journey's classic tune "Don't Stop Believing" just blew off and reached more than 7 million plays combined on MYNGA's Soundcloud channel.
