With training in prop making, set construction, scenic art and drafting, Marshall undertakes a variety of work within film, theatre and live events, specialising in prop making and animatronics. Marshall completed his three year diploma at the Adelaide College of the Arts for which he received an Arts Excellence Award. Marshall's experience ranges from a number of different productions through companies including the South Australian Film Corporation, Adelaide Festival Centre, Adelaide Fringe, Oz Asia, State Opera, Patch Theatre and Australian Dance Theatre.
