When I was young, we always had both Dutch and Indonesian food on the table, as my father was born in Indonesia and my mother is the Netherlands. This is why I created the name Pisang Susu; it means Banana and Milk in Bahasa Indonesia and stands for the mix I am myself and the food I love. Now I am cooking on my blog Pisangsusu.com all 578 dishes from Beb Vuyk's (Eurasian / Indo writer) famous cook book: 'Groot Indonesisch Kookboek' (1973).
