The main reason for the high level of homophobia in modern Russia is lack of awareness and widespread myths and prejudices about gay people and their lifestyle. My project Straight Talk With Gay People is an attempt to influence the situation by introducing prominent writers, actors, directors, musicians, athletes, and other public figures who are open members of LGBT-community to the Russian-speaking audience.
