When I was young, I built models of all kinds. My job, children and building a house kept me so busy for many decades that there was hardly any time for my hobby. About 15 years ago I started again and because I didn't have the right equipment, I started making cardboard models. This requires very few tools and paints. Little by little I made plug-in models out of plastic or metal or wood and finally started again with plastic models with paintwork. I'm still working and now a grandfather. Nevertheless, I try to put as much time as possible into my hobby of model making. I always try to indicate the source of the models, of course not for standard purchase models.
