Held in The Square, Palmerston North on the second weekend of March its an awesome family weekend. 🏆 20 championships, including women and rookies Stihl Timbersports, sheep shearing, sheepdog trials and coal shovelling, plus Highland Games 'heavy' events and a host of have-a-go sports like gumboot throwing, Russian egg roulette, youth shearing and cow pat tossing 💩. There are special events just for kids - tree climbing, self-drive digger and heaps more have-a-go events. The weekend starts on Friday with the Agri Futures Clash of the Colleges and that evening is the Ford New Zealand Rural Sports Awards. It's FREE ENTRY to the Rural Games and Clash of the Colleges!
