Born Bruce Woodbridge, Artist Quaz was inspired early on by music. Growing up in Youngstown, Ohio an adolescent Quaz remembers his grandparents getting up to dance simply from hearing an intro to a song and being moved by what they knew was coming next...they jam! This relatable experience was ingrained in his mind forever and was only the beginning of what would translate into a career of making music. After relocating to Virginia where he spent most of his youth, Quaz’s passion flourished; as a witty teenager with a way with words he took his first pivotal step into his future by entering a talent show to debut his skills. Although that didn’t result in a prize that day, it was just the rewarding motivation he needed to continue pursuing his dream.
