Greetings! My name is Ricardo Guerra, but you can call me Rick. I am a competitive Pokémon player who focuses on creating content around the VGC format as well as Single Battle content. I've been playing Pokémon competitively since 2006 and have competed in many VGC tournaments as well as Single Battle tournaments. In my years of competing in tournaments, I've won 2 Midseason Showdowns and 3 Premier Challenges. I've also won the Nintendo World Store's Pokémon Black 2 / White 2 Single Battle tournament in 2013 (New York City). I placed 2nd at the 2013 Florida Winter Regional and 7th at the 2019 Atlantic City Regional. I've also placed 2nd at the APEX 2012 Pokémon Black / White Single Battle tournament. I've qualified for the Pokémon Video Game Showdown World Championship in 2008 and Players Cup IV.
