Matthew Filipowicz is a comedian, cartoonist and satirist. He is the host and producer of Laughing Liberally Milwaukee. Matthew’s work have been featured on CNN, NPR, PBS, HBO, BBC, Ain’t It Cool News, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Atlantic, the Nation, the London Times, RT TV and countless sites in the progressive blogosphere including Salon, Daily Kos and the Huffington Post. For six years he hosted the critically acclaimed and creatively titled Matthew Filipowicz Show. Before that he created a daily, satirical political cartoon for the website Headzup.tv for over three years garnering millions of views. Matthew is the national coordinator for Laughing Liberally and has founded and directed chapters in Chicago, Boston, and currently, Milwaukee. He also performs regularly with his sketch comedy troupe, the Accountants of Homeland Security.
