PRINCIPAL BALLET DANCER BALLET TEACHER DANCE THERAPIST SINGER MOTHER OF 3 Was born in Nice(FR),where she received her training from Claudette Douillon and Pedro Consuegra who send her in 1996 at the National Ballet school of Alicia Alonso(Cuba). 1998, she won the silver medal at the renowned international ballet competition in Varna, (BU),and she obtained the Diploma of end of study in the NBS of A.Alonso with Special Distinction (1st of her class & congratulations of the good work). She then became a member of the National Ballet of Cuba. 2000-2008 at Wiesbaden,She was hired as Soloist. Since the start of 2008/09, Adeline has been engaged as a PRINCIPAL DANCER with the Aalto Ballet Theatre Essen. Ballet is an elite form of dancing that requires much foot muscle movement, and suspension on the toes. There is no singing done in a typical ballet; dance is performed purely to an orchestral accompaniment. Story and plot are conveyed through a dancer's actions and facial expressions, along with orchestral coloring. Louis XIV is known as the patron of ballet, because under his reign as the Sun King, he allowed ballet to flourish in Versailles. In fact, he was the first to offer ballet instruction and solidify the steps of the dance to a degree. The French operas of Lully, a famous composer of the time, feature ballets in between acts, and in the opera itself. Russia caught onto this new dance craze soon after, creating dancers that were trained from birth in specialized schools. The Ballet Russes opened in Paris in the early 1900's, immediately capturing the Parisian audience. In this way, the common theme of ballet linked Russia and France.

Maïa Darmé is a French harpist and composer. Hailed as an ambassador for her instrument, she has earned an international reputation for her commanding on-stage presence and captivating performances. An active soloist and chamber musician, she has performed in over 25 countries on all continents. As a classical soloist she collaborated with numerous national orchestras, but she is also equally at ease playing traditional or electric harps. She has notably joined forces with world music, jazz, experimental, electro, punk, hip-hop and reggae bands. She started playing the harp at the age of six and went on to learn under the guidance of some of the world's most acclaimed harpists. Having graduated from the Bordeaux and Paris conservatories, she relocated to Australia to study harp performance and composition at the Australian National University. She then attended Columbia University, New York, where she furthered her composition studies as well as diving into electronic music.
