A Day In History brings to you the unsaid, weird, and ugly parts of history that are not taught in textbooks, along with some more hopeful sections of our past. With so much misinformation everywhere, our aim is to shed light on some of history's most suppressed but factual events.

Every student should feel confident in their AP History classes. On this channel I have produced a mixture of seriousness and buffoonery in order to help students of AP U.S. History, AP World History, and AP Government build the confidence and skills they need to get an A in their class and a 5 on their AP Exam. I post videos every week during the school year and occasionally over the summer. If you find these videos helpful, then subscribe and join the Heimler's History family.

The Tibet Oral History Project (TOHP) aims to preserve the history and culture of the Tibetan people by documenting the life experiences of Tibetan elders, who were forced to flee their homeland following the Chinese invasion. The project has videotaped the oral histories of 304 Tibetan elders living in exile. This oral history collection is invaluable. It provides intimate portraits of the elders - the last generation to live in a free, unoccupied Tibet - and preserves for future generations the memories of their homeland. I have been teaching history and sociology courses for over 20 years. History has been my passion since childhood, I did not have much growing up but I did have an insatiable thirst for history and knowledge. I have two post-graduate degrees in racial theory and women's studies, I also minored in eastern philosophy. My recall ability and sense of humor have always been my strengths in teaching history and reacting to history-related videos on youtube since 2020. I also love the history of music, movies, sports, pop culture, and much more. I especially love reacting and breaking down the unique and obscure parts of history in my youtube videos and as a history teacher. I react to a lot of epic rap battles of history, oversimplified, simple history, sam o'nella, and many other history videos on youtube. I also do the random music reaction if it applies, and various advice segments and videos on my thoughts on education, as both an educator of history and a lifelong student.
