Alex Began dancing samba at the age of 6 in the frontier with Brazil and participated in samba parades as well as dance formations. For the next four years would build the foundation of a highly advanced sense of rhythm. From the age of 10 to 16 he developed additional styles urban styles including hip-hop, salsa, merengue. While he continued to grow in Latin rhythms, Alex achieved the national title in hip hop.Alex prodance about It is at the age of 17 that Alex, became involved in formal dancing and associating with renowned dance personalities. This is where the birth of salsa merengue, bachata and similar rhythms started. Hi, I’m Maria and through this channel I want to share my passion for dancing to jazz music with you. As a teenager I danced (modern) Jazz Dance for a while and tried some Ballet. Few years ago, when I discovered Afro-American vernacular dances, like Charleston and Lindy Hop I was captivated by the creativity, craziness, and imperfection these dances allow. In the summer of 2012, Chloe performed as a member of the Monsters of Hip Hop Cast at the Los Angeles Theatre Center. Alumni cast members are some of the busiest working dancers in the industry with credits including: Beyonce, Britney Spears, Janet & Michael Jackson, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Usher, Chris Brown, Dancing With The Stars, So You Think You Can Dance and America's Best Dance Crew. Chloe is an emerging choreographer who worked with Seattle Hip Hop choreographer Kolanie Marks on the set of the feature film "Battlefield America", to create the film's choreography. The film, directed by Chris Stokes was released in the Summer of 2012. She works frequently with Kevin Maher on different projects in the Los Angeles area as well as overseas. Chloe currently teaches all levels of hip hop dance, and gives dance workshops and master classes throughout the US and Canada.
