Paula co-founded Yoginimelbourne with one of her dearest friends Mischa to share her love of yoga, mindfulness and wellbeing in a way that is accessible, down to earth and meet people where they are at. Paula is a has been teaching yoga for over 11 years and has a background in movement and dance and has been studying and practicing yoga for 20 years. Paula has been influenced by many different yoga and movement traditions and this comes through in the variety of yoga classes offered here on the channel from dynamic vinyasa, therapeutic hatha, yin to mindfulness and meditations. Paula is also a qualified social worker currently working as a counsellor/therapist specialising in working with trauma. Paula has completed her level 1 qualification in Sensorimotor psychotherapy (talk based somatic psychotherapy) and has a deep interest in how these various frameworks and understandings can support people to connect to the body as a resource, place of wisdom, joy and deep healing.

To help balance your physical practice there is also a suite of meditations and relaxation. I've been passionate about teaching yoga for more than four decades. I feel fortunate that we have technology like zoom and YouTube so I can offer yoga to a wide audience. By practising in the comfort of your home, you are basically doing personal practice. You're not distracted by other students and possibly able to sense and feel more of what you are doing in poses. Personal practice is less about looking good and more about you learning about yourself within the great system of yoga. There’s an additional benefit of doing yoga at home...you don’t have to travel. That is a CO2 saving for the environment and for your wallet, too. Best of all, home practice encourages us to be self-starting and to evolve in yoga at our own pace.
