I have had many teachers in my life and appreciate all that they have taught me, and I try to do the same thing. I'm an adventurer, explorer, filmmaker and author who believes life is better outdoors. The channel documents my adventures and expeditions in the wilderness. I prefer self-propelled movement. Hike, paddle, ski, snowshoe, claw. Whatever moves me by my own steam. My notable Canadian expeditions include crossing 700km of my home island Newfoundland by snowshoe, boot & packraft and 1000km of Labrador & Northern Quebec by canoe. Both trips plus many more can be seen on the channel. I fish, forage & hunt. This is camping, survival & bushcraft. Long challenging expeditions & also shorter relaxed tours.
